Paweł Alexewicz, MD, PhD
Doctor Paweł Alexewicz graduated with honours from the Wrocław Medical University in 1988 and has specialised in internal medicine and angiology (vascular diseases). He worked for many years as head of the Department of Angiology at the University Clinical Hospital in Wrocław. After defending his doctoral thesis entitled "Venous manifestations of thrombophilia and antiphospholipid syndrome", he served as an assistant professor at the Wrocław Medical University.
His professional focus is on venous thromboembolism, arteriosclerosis, vascular complications in diabetes and venous thrombosis and coagulation disorders in pregnancy. The Medicover Centre also performs duplex-Doppler ultrasound examinations of the vessels, including the cephalic arteries, arteries and veins of the upper and lower limbs, as well as the abdominal aorta and iliac arteries.
He combines his professional passion with his interest in music, literature, especially historical journalism, and the history of cinema. He is a graduate of the Grażyna Bacewicz State Music School in Wrocław in the piano class.
