Abdominal ultrasound is used to assess the liver, the gallbladder, the biliary tract, the pancreas, the spleen, the kidneys, the adrenal glands, the bladder, the aorta as well as large blood vessels and the retroperitoneal space.

Thyroid ultrasound is used to determine the size and position of the thyroid and conduct its morphological assessment. The examination makes it possible to diagnose thyroid dysfunction.
