Programme for the treatment of obesity using a gastric balloon - 6 months

A gastric balloon is a soft, silicone medical device which is placed into the stomach. As it is partially filled with saline, the balloon allows the patient to experience a feeling of fullness and satiety after eating a much smaller meal than before. Patients undergoing this treatment can expect to lose 15-20 kg of their body mass.

The package includes:

- Balloon placement;

- 1 consultations with an internist/bariatrician (for a 6-month balloon);

- 2 consultations with a dietitian;

- Balloon removal after 6 months;

- During the qualification process, the doctor may order additional tests and/or examinations that are not included in the package.
