Rye flour test is a blood allergy test The rye flour allergy test identifies the rye flour allergen.


The test involves the determination of IgE antibodies in the blood and is performed when an allergy to rye flour is suspected. The advantage of of the test is that there is no need to discontinue antihistamines antihistamines. The blood allergen test is used also for qualification for desensitization of rye flour allergy.

It is also recommended for the diagnosis of allergenic agents in children under the age of 4 years.
