Geriatrician

A geriatrician specialises in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of diseases in older adults, including the following:

• memory disorders,
• cognitive impairment,
• Parkinson’s disease,
• dementia,
• depression,
• sleep disorders.

People over 65 years of age should visit a geriatrician.

Scope of the consultation with a geriatrician:

• referral for laboratory tests and diagnostic imaging examinations,
• treatment of pain,
• diagnosis of old age diseases,
• interpretation of test results.

You should turn up for the visit no later than 15 minutes before it is scheduled to start.

The service can only be provided in the medical centre indicated at the time of purchase.
