What is a da Vinci Professor’s Consultation – Pancreatic and Gastrointestinal Diseases?
The da Vinci professor’s consultation is a highly specialized medical service designed for patients who require an in-depth and comprehensive evaluation of pancreatic and gastrointestinal diseases. The consultation is conducted by a professor who is a specialist in oncological surgery, general surgery, and clinical transplantology, with extensive experience in managing complex surgical cases.
Benefits of the da Vinci professor’s consultation:
The highest level of clinical expertise
The da Vinci professor’s consultation is a highly specialized appointment conducted by a professor — a specialist in oncological surgery, general surgery, and clinical transplantology, with many years of experience in treating complex diseases of the pancreas and gastrointestinal tract.
In-depth analysis of medical records and imaging tests
During the visit, existing medical documentation and current imaging tests (CT or MRI of the abdominal cavity) are thoroughly reviewed. The professor interprets the results in the context of symptoms and treatment history, explains their clinical significance, and discusses possible causes of the condition.
Organizing the treatment process and defining clear next steps
The goal of the consultation is to organize the diagnostic and therapeutic process to date, address the patient’s concerns, and indicate the most appropriate next steps in diagnostics or treatment, in line with current medical knowledge.
An individual consultation focused on complex cases
The visit is expert-level and entirely dedicated to a detailed conversation with the patient, reviewing their medical history, and answering important questions. The consultation is intended for patients who require an in-depth clinical assessment or a second opinion before making further health-related decisions.

How does the visit proceed?
During the visit, the professor performs a detailed review of the patient’s medical documentation and imaging studies, explains their clinical relevance in relation to symptoms and previous treatment, and answers the patient’s questions. The consultation includes a discussion of possible next steps, such as additional diagnostic procedures or modifications to the current management plan.
The visit lasts approximately 20 minutes and is fully dedicated to an individualized case assessment
