Bartłomiej Zalewski, MD, PhD

Doctor, paediatric specialist. He takes care of children of all ages, both in terms of preventive healthcare (conducting routine health checks, qualifying for vaccinations) and treatment during infections. He practices evidence-based medicine. A graduate of the 2nd Medical Faculty of the Medical University of Warsaw, he gained Professional practice while working at the Department of Paediatrics of the Medical University of Warsaw (initially at the Children's Hospital at ul. Działdowska, then at ul. Żwirki i Wigury). In 2020, he received his doctorate in medicine and health sciences, after defending his PhD thesis entitled "Nutritional Interventions in the Prevention and Treatment of Childhood Obesity". He completed the course in Professional Treatment of Overweight and Obesity organised by the Polish Society for Obesity Research. He is the author of numerous scientific publications in the field of nutrition, including the prevention and treatment of obesity. He was awarded the scholarship of the Minister of Science and Higher Education for Outstanding Young Scientists (2020/2021).
