Diagnostic tests

Hydrogen breath test (HBT) allows to determine the concentration of hydrogen in exhaled air, following the administration of glucose to the patient.

Duplex Doppler ultrasound of the veins of the upper limbs is used to conduct the morphological and blood flow assessments in regard to the veins of the upper limbs. 

Duplex Doppler ultrasound of the veins of the lower limbs is used to conduct the morphological assessment of the blood flow in the veins of the lower limbs and the evaluation of the superficial and deep venous systems.

Ultrasound of the urinary system is used to assess the kidneys, the ureters (to the visible extent) and the bladder. In the case of male patients, the examination is also used for the assessment of the prostate gland.

Soft tissue ultrasound is a test that allows detection abnormalities, thickenings, cysts, tumors or inflammatory infiltrates in soft tissues.

Duplex Dopple ultrasound of the visceral arteries is used to assess the morphology and flow of the visceral arteries.
