Neurosurgeon - consultation

A neurosurgeon diagnoses and treats diseases of the central and peripheral nervous systems (incl. diseases affecting the brain, the spinal cord and peripheral nerves) as well as the vascular system supplying these structures.

During the consultation, the doctor:

takes a medical history and performs a physical examination; makes a diagnosis; gives medical recommendations; prescribes medications; issues referrals for tests, examinations, consultations and hospitalisation; issues sick leave.

Imprtant information

The consultation lasts 15 minutes. Make sure to arrive at least 15 minutes before your appointment. The service can only be provided at the medical facility indicated at the time of purchase. At the appointment, the doctor may perform a per rectum examination, remove sutures and apply a dressing.

Neurosurgeon - telemedical consultation

A neurosurgeon diagnoses and treats diseases of the central and peripheral nervous systems (incl. diseases affecting the brain, the spinal cord and peripheral nerves) as well as the vascular system supplying these structures. Such conditions include:

• lumbar and cervical disc diseases;
• nerve entrapment syndromes;
• spinal disc herniation;
• hemangiomas;
• vertebral body pathologies;
• chronic pain syndromes.

During a telemedical consultation, the doctor:

takes a medical history and performs a physical examination; makes a diagnosis; gives medical recommendations; prescribes medications; issues referrals for tests, examinations, consultations and hospitalisation; issues sick leave.

During a telemedical consultation, the doctor will provide any services that may be carried out remotely. However, when taking a medical history, the doctor may decide that an on-site consultation is necessary to make an accurate diagnosis and recommend the appropriate treatment.
